    Hi Alejandra,

       Please check the following:

The customer was successful in connecting to the ERwin Query Tool when the firewall was disabled, but not when it was enabled. The ODBC driver that ERwin uses for the Query Tool uses port 19987 and that port was being blocked by the firewall software.  Disabling the firewall also allowed them to run their pinned reports.

    • Please work with your help desk  to make an exception for port 19987 on your PC in your anti-virus or firewall software.
    • Or to open port 19887 on your PC.

    Cheers,

    Matt

    Thanks for your comment.

Unfortunately, this functionality was work very fine, however, I was run a lot of reports(with Report Editor into same software) and ODBC connector  stopped working.

I reviewed , with regedit, for something about port 19987 and the port is assigned to ERwin r9 and ERwin r9_current register, only.

I don't work with any firewall, just corporative antivirus, and, I tried with desactivated it.

    I got the same result.

    Alejandra,

Please double check that port 19987 is open using this utility:  https://erwinhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/235051468-Easy-utility-to-Test-if-a-LOCAL-TCP-port-is-open

    Cheers,

    Matt

    Hi Matt.

Is this program in 32-bits version?

Doesn't work in my actual machine.

    Thanks a lot.
