    1. Instead of using the menu (Diagram --> Diagrams...) to open the Diagram Editor, just double-click on a blank area of an open diagram. Not only is this a short-cut method for accessing the Diagram Editor, but it also opens the editor in the active Subject Area.
    2. Adding a sort option in the Diagram Editor to list the diagrams in "Tab Order" seems like a reasonable request, however doesn't having the list in alphabetic sort sequence make it easier to find a specific tab?

    Neil,

Awesome first tip, THANK YOU!  That is exactly what I was looking for.

As for the second, yes, they can be alphabetized, but I order my diagrams, and sometimes have to go back and add new ones.  I like that in the latest version I can drag and drop the tabs to rearrange the order of the actual tabs.  Unfortunately, it feels very 1990's to have to go rename by diagrams with a letter or number in the beginning of each name and hit the sort alphabetically option to get the order of the list to match the order of the tabs themselves.

Now that you pointed out a quicker way to get to the diagram editor box, it is not as big an issue, but still...  How often do we make mistakes flipping back and forth between things?  Especially if most times they are aligned but then there is that one subject are where the third tab is not the third diagram listed?

As I said before, minor nit.  Just annoying.

    Thanks again,

    Ray

    Neil,

BTW, I've been using the double click on the background since you told me about it.  LOVE it!

Hope you get little stuff like that included in the tips if not already there. Not that I read them anymore since I turned those things off years ago... Still amazing to find the little things I didn't know I could do.
