Question:
Why do I see Concurrent (Converted) if I purchased a Node-locked license?
Answer: Concurrent (converted) is the same as a node locked license. In 2020R1 to current, VM detection has been enabled on the license keys. By default the license keys are concurrent and we have configured the keys to convert it back to a node-locked license. Some users that may not be running in a VM/VDI environment may have Hyper-V enabled causing it to appear as a virtual machine. Also if the the user was created as a guest of the main account has it enabled, it would cause the user to also have Hyper-V enabled. The user can reach out to their help desk to disable that option but the key will still work properly.
