When Reverse Engineering (RE) from an Oracle database, it takes very long time. Is there a way to get the basic information from the database in a relatively expedient way?
Reverse Engineering from a database is an involved process and its performance depends on many factors, such as:
- How large is the database?
- What options are being selected? The more you select, the longer it will take.
- The resources (RAM and free Hard disk space etc.) of the PC
However, you can use the guidelines to RE from an Oracle database using the minimal options and the filters to get the expected results in a faster way. Please see the document attached with this.
