To demonstrate a problem from the customer's Web Portal environment, users are asked to create a backup from their repository configuration and then send that to erwin support. How may I do that?
Please login to the Metadata Manager UI using the Administrator permission
For Web Portal version 2018R1 or prior
Go to the repository panel and go to the configuration
Right-click | More | backup
Back up the entire configuration to a folder.
Please zip up and send to erwin support the folder that contains the multiple XML folders and a file script.js
If you are restoring a configuration, simply click More | Restore.
For Web Portal 2018R1 and beyond
Please backup from Metadata Explorer UI
Go to Manage |contents | click on the three dots
Back up to a folder and zip it
Send entire folder to erwin support
