https://support.ca.com/phpdocs/7/260/260_952_release_notes.pdf
Problem No.: 12373 Issue No.: 21343241-1 IHHERT COLOR BROKEN
In CA ERwin Data Modeler release 8.0, when attributes inherited colors from entities, in some diagrams the parent entities were not present and the child attributes did not inherit the color. The inherited color appeared if the entity was added temporarily. In addition, sometimes when the entity was added, the inherited color appeared and when the entity was removed the color did not appear.
Problem No.: 12736 Issue No.: 21543950-1 COLOR INHERITANCE IN 8.2.05
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r8.2.05, foreign key attributes did not inherit color from the parent entity relationship line, if the parent entities were not present in the current subject area.
Problem No.: 12338 Issue No.: 21308041-1 INHERITANCE
Properties of Themes such as colors of existing attributes did not inherit across Subject Areas.
Problem No.: 12618 Issue No.: 21562197-1 REL LINES MISSING
If a recursive relationship was added to an entity or a relationship was added between two entities while working on a diagram, the relationship lines did not appear anywhere else in the model across all diagrams and across all subject areas, despite selecting the Auto-populate check box for the subject area. If a relationship was deleted from a diagram using the Delete option in the Subject Area menu option, the relationship was deleted only from the current diagram and not from all the diagrams in the same subject area.
Problem No.: 12738 Issue No.: 21087957-1 MAXIMISE IGNORED ON OPEN
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r9, suppose a model was at its maximum zoom size while saving. If the model was reopened, the model was displayed in a much smaller size.
Problem No.: 11562 Issue No.: 21565108-1 SUBTYPE SYMBOL * LINES MISSING
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r9, if a subtype entity relationship was right-clicked in the Model Explorer and Add to Diagram was clicked, the relationship was not added to the diagram. The Diagram Editor had to be opened and the relationship had to be moved from Available to Included area and only then the relationship was displayed in the diagram.
Problem No.: 11562 Issue No.: 21313647-1, LOG RELATIONSHIP LIN INVISIBLE
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r8.2.5, relationship line was invisible on the Logical Side of the Model, but the relationship existed in the diagram.
Problem No.: 11306 Issue No.: 20255846-1 REVERSE ENG OF VIEW TERADATA
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r7.3.10, when a Teradata view was reverse engineered, there was an error. Views that included the '+' and '||' symbols were not created and no user-defined SQL was saved.
Problem No.: 12346 Issue No.: 21346912-1 8.2.07 - MORE MEMORY 64-BIT
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r8.2.5, when a model size was reduced to 63 MB, the model could be saved from ERwin r8 to r7.3.10. If the model size was greater than 63 MB, it could not be saved.
Problem No.: 11528 Issue No.: 20476854-1 TERADATA PARTITION ON UPI
In CA ERwin Data Modeler release 7.3.11 and 8.0/8.1, when a Teradata 13 database was reverse engineered, the following error message was displayed:
"ESX190817 Partition Expression is only valid on a non-unique primary index." Issues Fixed in this Release
Problem No.: 12449 Issue No.: 21437343-1 RECURSIVES AND S/T GO ASKEW
When a CA ERwin Data Modeler r8.2.05 model was opened in r9.0, most of the recursive relationships moved their places.
Problem No.: 12426 Issue No.: 21407030-1 QUERY TOOL NOT UDP INHERITANCE
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r8.2.05, when a query was run to identify the child UDPs inherited from the parent attribute, the query did not return any, despite the model showed such attributes.
Problem No.: 12481 Issue No.: 21457512-1 SYNC ERROR NAMING STD TEMPLATE
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r9.0, suppose a Logical-only template model had a glossary that was populated by importing a .csv file. Suppose this template was bound to a Logical/Physical target model and the option Synchronize on model open was selected. If a new word was added to the glossary in the template model and the target model was opened, an error message appeared. If more than one word was added it worked properly, after displaying an alert to synchronize with the model source.
Problem No.: 1305 Issue No.: 21463639-1 MART REPORT-ATTRIBUTE ORDER
In an CA ERwin Data Modeler r9.1 Oracle 10g Mart Server, a report on the Attribute Order could not be generated on Mart models. The report included properties of Attribute_Order, Physical_Order, and Column_Order.

Problem No.: 12391 Issue No.: 21366146-2 CC: NAMES TRUNCATED
Suppose a SQL Server 2005 model was converted from CA ERwin Data Modeler r7.3.10 to 9.0. When the model was opened, sometimes the table, column, index and relationship names were truncated at 30 characters. This also showed as a difference during Complete Compare. Sometimes simply closing and reopening the model fixed the problem, but sometimes the model had to be refreshed by switching the target database to SQL Server 2008 and then switching it back to SQL Server 2005.
Problem No.: 12427 Issue No.: 21416838-1 DERIVE MDL MISS SUPRTYP REL
In CA ERwin Data Modeler 9.0, if a Logical/Physical model was derived from a Logical/Physical model and include only a few selected supertype/subtype entities, the relationship lines and the descriminator were missing in the Logical model. If all supertype/subtype entities were included, then the relationship lines and the descriminator were displayed in the Logical model. Issues Fixed in this Release
Problem No .: 1304 Issue No.: 21534334-1 HARDENING INFO LOST/SAVE MM
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r9.2, if name hardening was applied to a column name in a new model, it was saved properly. If the model was saved to the Mart, the hardening setting was lost. The column name could be changed when the model was opened from the Mart.
Problem No.: 12119 Issue No.: 21176482-1 DERIVE RENAMES CNSTRAINT NAMES
In CA ERwin Data Modeler r9.2, a user-defined constraint name changed when a model is derived to a Physical only model. The new name assigned was based on the domain, because the USE INHERITED CONSTRAINT setting was selected in the Validation Rule Editor. If the USE INHERITED CONSTRAINT setting was cleared, the user-defined constraint name was entered, and the model was derived again, the constraint name was retained.
Problem No.: 12737 Issue No.: 21578450-1 MART SERVER INSTALL ISSUE
