Running the install off the CD, after selecting the option to install CA ERwin Data Modeler r7.3, it confirms that selection then presents a message box containing the string "1158:". On selecting the "OK" button you are then returned to the initial install screen, so the product cannot be installed. Problem also occured on Erwin r8.
There are 3 possible solutions:
- Log in as the Administrator of the machine and again try the install.
- Copy the contents of the CD on to the machine and retry the install.
- Download the install from the CA Support site via CA ERwin Data Modeler's homepage. You need to be logged in on the Support site and the download is under the 'Product Status' heading with 'CA ERwin Data Modeler Solutions & Patches'.
